Only your display/shop name, city, listing photos/description, and the contact phone number you explicitly provide on the listing.
Your hashed password, private chat messages, saved wishlists, and account email are strictly protected and never sold to third parties.
1Data We Collect & Legal Basis
Under Article 5 of the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, we process only the minimum data required to provide our services:
- Account & Profile Data: Name, email address, optional phone number, and avatar/shop logo.
- Geolocation Data: City or GPS coordinates — processed strictly when you explicitly click the GPS button and grant browser permission.
- Plant Photos & AI Recognition: Uploaded plant photos may be analyzed by botanical AI APIs solely to identify plant species, without attaching personal identifiers.
- Security Logs: IP address and session tokens for anti-spam and fraud prevention.
2Data Security & Retention Period
2.1. Data is stored in encrypted cloud PostgreSQL databases protected by Row Level Security (RLS) and TLS encryption.
2.2. Data is retained while your account is active. Upon an erasure request, your personal data and listings are permanently deleted within 10 business days.
3Cookies & Local Storage
Planto.ge uses essential session cookies for authentication and language preferences, plus anonymous performance metrics (Vercel Analytics).
4Your Rights Under Georgian Law
Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:
- Request access to and copies of your processed personal data.
- Rectify or update your information directly in Profile Settings (/dashboard/profile).
- Request data erasure ('Right to be Forgotten') or restriction of processing by contacting info@planto.ge.
- Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (pdps.ge).
